OUR CONCEPT

The Welderly Project logo is inspired by the morning glory,
a flower that symbolizes the Japanese summer.
Layered into this motif is a vision of the future—
where a new way of living, shaped through resident participation, blossoms and flourishes.
The form of the flower is created by overlapping inverted human figures,
subtly forming the letter “W” for Welderly.
This design reflects people coming together, supporting one another,
and weaving a shared way of life.
—It embodies our hope that this place will offer a sense of comfort and tranquility,
and that a resident-driven community will bloom beautifully here—
What is Cooperative Housing?
Cooperative housing is a model in which individuals who plan to build homes for their own use form an association, jointly plan the project, and participate in land acquisition, design, construction, and other processes to develop and manage their homes.
